WeBoost uses essential cookies and similar storage by default. Optional analytics uses additional browser storage only if you choose Accept analytics on the banner.
- Essential: security, signed-in session (when you use your account), and remembering your cookie choice (`weboost.cookie-consent.v1` plus a short mirror cookie)
- Preference: e.g. hiding optional UI such as the review prompt (`localStorage` keys `weboost.review-dock.dismissed-until.v1` and `weboost.review-dock.submitted-until.v1`) when you ask not to see it again
- Attribution: partner/referral codes from links (`?ref=` / `?utm_source=`) may be stored in `sessionStorage` (`weboost.referral.capture.v1`) and a short mirror cookie (`weboost_ref`) so checkout and enquiry forms can pass them to our systems — not used for optional analytics
- Optional first-party analytics: pseudonymous IDs in `localStorage` / `sessionStorage` (`weboost.analytics.*`) and event posts to our first-party `/api/events` endpoint — only after Accept analytics
- Optional Google Analytics 4: Google may set `_ga` and related measurement cookies after Accept analytics. We send public page paths without query strings and exclude customer, account, proposal, preview and result routes
Managing consent
Essential only keeps optional analytics disabled; Accept analytics enables the first-party analytics described above and the existing WeBoost Google Analytics 4 stream.

Third-party services
We use third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, payment processing, and messaging workflows. After consent, Google Analytics 4 processes limited public-page measurement data for WeBoost.
Third parties process data under contractual safeguards and only for authorised service purposes.
